“BREAKFAST WITH MOMS” (Monday to Friday, 7am – 9am)
Host: Georgia Cotaoco: “Mommy Georgia”
A Radio personality for more than 2 decades, she discovered something more than her passion for radio–that is her passion for being a mom to her 2 sons. She takes care of her children the best she can as God-centered Mom, in partnership with her husband, Benjie. Her focus in bringing up her boys spring from her deep-seated belief that if we train our children, we are to do so intentionally, with the mission of embedding the foundations that will serve as pillars in adulthood – the solid ground to stand on, in battling the storms in their lives. And, what better foundation to lay on them than God’s Word? This, according to her, is core in intentional parenting, which comes with consistency in our daily lives – fundamentally, bringing up our children the right way, alongside spirituality, which should not be taken for granted. For Georgia and Benjie, teaching their children is intentionally inculcating the values that please God.
Host: Owen Santos: “Mommy Owen”
Owen Santos is a 15-year veteran of television and video production, working in some of the more notable news programs. After retiring early from that, she moved on to print media, holding various editorial positions at some local editions of international magazines. She also dabbled into radio, co-hosting an inter-generational program that covered issues affecting Filipino women and girls. Owen is a cancer survivor who continues her advocacy for the rights and health of women and children, and feels eager to engage with mommies (and daddies!) nationwide through the programs on Moms Radio. She is also a passionate animal welfare advocate and is a volunteer with CARA Welfare Philippines. Of course, she is “mom” to her adopted pets—four cats and one dog.
“MAN OF THE HOUSE” (Monday to Friday, 12nn – 3pm)
Host: Dennis Poliquit: “Daddy Dennis”
Dennis, also known as Big D, has over 20 years of experience in radio. He started his career in Davao as a weekend DJ pinch-hitter, that eventually moved to weekdays. In 1996, Big D was transferred by management from Davao to Metro Manila, where he hosted prime time radio shows on popular FM stations and interviewed countless artists locally and abroad. Big D later managed radio stations. In all of his accomplishments, his biggest has been being a husband and dad to 5 kids, with two sets of twins. He has shared his many experiences and lessons in seminars and talks on parenting, family, relationships, and manhood.
Co-Host: Benj Cotaoco: “Daddy Benjie”
The wide range of topics that keep listeners glued to Mom’s Radio in the afternoon build on the interesting topics that Daddy Dennis carry on with his co-host Daddy Benjie in the afternoon chat. Daddy Benjie loves music and the outdoors. He loves traveling, and exploring places, with his family. Beaches are his family’s preference. Like his wife, his goal as a father and husband is to lead his family closer to God, as he promotes loving relationship at home. He hopes to share on air his challenges in bringing up well-rounded sons, and how he finds joy in teaching them values that will serve as springboard in righteousness.
